Kedah To Set Up Youth Training Institute
ALOR SETAR, May 31 (Bernama) -- The Kedah state government plans to build a RM3.4 million training institute in Sungai Petani next year in efforts to curb unhealthy activities among youths in the state.
Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Azizan Abdul Razak said the institute would equip youths aged between 18 and 24 with certain skills and imbue them with noble character traits to prepare them for future challenges.
"They will get to learn more about the country's legal system and constitution and attend sessions on enhancing motivation, crime prevention and religion, among others," he told reporters afer closing a motivational camp for youths in Air Hitam near here, Tuesday.
